Miso soup from last night with barley pasta, leftover pizza & leftover sweet rice cake
Lunch
Quinoa salad & buckwheat noodles with a lovely sauce made from sauerkraut juice, miso & tahini
A dessert made with nuts, brown rice cream & melon (I’m experimenting for a cooking class!) & some sweet rice cake
A very small amount of grain coffee
Dinner
Aduki bean soup made with kombu, leeks, carrots, aduki beans & garlic
Cous cous, peas and onions, whole wheat flat bread, steamed brocolli & sauerkraut
1/2 a beer
Food glorious food!
Someone made a comment the other day that I must spend my life washing up. He he! It is true that cooking fresh food every day takes time and effort but if you can understand the connection between food and health then you don’t mind paying that price. It seems like a small price to pay for such a valuable investment…
