Dobro Vece!
I had a great day yesterday. I felt great in the morning after fasting the day before. I ate only brown rice porridge until the afternoon when I ran out of food and felt soooo hungry! I love how fasting means you appreciate food so much more, it’s amazing! So, I had quinoa salad, corn chips & brown rice bars with a little mu tea
For dinner I had some pasta with a squash sauce, followed by some oat fudge and a celebratory must have beer!
Day 3
Breakfast
A really delicious porridge of brown rice, a little hiziki and chestnuts with roasetd pumpkin seeds – mmmm soooo yummy!
Lunch
Squash & haricot bean miso soup
Millet balls on salad leaves with an onion and kuzu gravy, roasted parsnips and carrot, fried celeriac with lemon & nori condiment
Oat fudge (this stuff is too good to be true – but the quantity I ate made it not so good – oops!!)
Dinner
Sweet veg drink – I wasn’t hungry after the feast earlier!

November 1st, 2010
Pinch Punch! I love the start of the month because it really feels like a great opportunity for fresh starts. Although of course, every day is a chance to start new things, the 1st of the month feels more significant for me for some reason and particularly the 1st November which is a particularly important time for me.
So, this month my focus is going to be on maximising my health and putting to good use all I know. I have been trying to do this as much as possible in the past but because of committments and time restraints I’ve always struggled to stay focused and time has got the better of me. But now, thank God (yes, really thank you God!), I have more time and I intend to put it to good use
Today I started with meditation, a body scrub & a cycle journey to the train station. I’m eating only brown rice porridge today as I feel such a need to give my body a rest. Ahhh!
I am going to see how long I can go on eating only brown rice for. I would love to do it for 10 days again but I’m going to see how it goes.
So, breakfast – brown rice porridge, lunch – brown rice porridge and dinner – brown rice porridge
No drinks today.

November 1st, 2010
Brunch
Roasted vegetable and brown rice tart, cous cous, mixed salad (green leaves, olives, sprouts, mixed veg, chickpeas) & sour dough bread
Brown rice & seed bars with barley cup and oat milk
Dinner
Rye bread with miso and tahini and olives
Brown rice bar
Grain coffee
Fudge made with milled oats
Beer – ahhh this was the best tasting beer EVER! I’ve never had a beer that tasted sooo good before which is a very strong indication that all that bread and food the last few days has been far too yang. I actually feel a bit like of loaf of bread at the moment. I feel like all I’ve eaten for the past couple of weeks is bread which is not good! But now I have no excuses as I have much more time on my hands (or at least I will have by next week!) and alot of determination to get my diet back on track
Some photos at last! I PROMISE more will follow soon

November 1st, 2010
Breakfast
Toast with miso
Lunch
Millet salad & lentil & vegetable soup
Dinner
A Chinese takeaway shared with my family – I had plain chow mein, chips & prawns with cashew nuts. It all doesn’t sound too bad but I dread to think what they put in there!! It tasted good of course. It was nice to share food with everyone. I think they were a little shocked that we were eating ‘normal’ food!! he he!
Ale
Fudge – sugar and dairy free
