Hello again!
So, now is today!! I’ve eaten wonderful food & I feel great.
Breakfast
A cup of twig tea mmm. We didn’t have any twigs in the house for a while so this was lovely having some again!
Lunch
Sprouted mixed bean, swede & wakame soup
Millet & squash, brown rice & barley, roasted parsnips & squash, pickled gherkin & daikon with kombu & a pressed carrot, radish & fennel salad
Oh I do have a confession…I had a couple of almonds, but only a couple
& it was because I felt like I really REALLY wanted them! I thought that was fair to give myself them considering I haven’t had any dessert for 18 days now – woo. Oh, on this subject, I did have on Sunday a little bit of a seitan dish that I made which had some fruit concentrate & rice syrup in it, but I only had a very small amount. So so far, I’ve had coconut cream & a little bit of that but that has been it! I even picked out some raisins that were in my porridge one morning in Devon. I must admit no desserts really suits me, I like it, and I’m soooo surprised that I am not having cravings for sweet things!
When I first started getting serious about macrobiotics there was no way I could not have a dessert, but now, a few years later, it seems it is possible!! wow!
A cup of twig tea
Dinner
Some more soup from lunch
Millet & squash, a mouthful of barley & brown rice, a boiled salad of cabbage, cauliflower, greens (a bit like watercress) & olives
And now I think I’ll have some of the water from the vegetables as my after dinner drink
Mmmm!
I really had such an amazing weekend in Devon where I felt another part of my personal healing jigsaw clicked into place. Like a bit of jigsaw towards wholeness & boy I feel so so sooooooo incredibly grateful, blessed & fortunate to have discovered macrobiotics & the macro school. I realise I was a little lost until I found it!
OK, enough. I’m gonna have that drink
A whole load of wholeness & love & light & fulfilment
