Hello
All I can say about my time in Devon this weekend is WOW, WOW, WOW! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Macro school
It was a really fantastic weekend and I think it may take me a few days to reflect & take it all in!
Do you ever have moments in your understanding of macrobiotics where it just moves into another place? that’s where I feel at the moment, as though I am on the brink of deepening my understanding and ahhh something about it feels really really good!
Breakfast
Miso soup & porridge with raisins & roasted seeds
Lunch
Quinoa, aduki pie, broccoli & cabbage, nori condiment, roasted sweet potato & a pepper sauce
Apple cake & some chestnut pie with a blueberry sauce – 2 desserts…it was someone’s birthday
I managed to squeeze in dessert number 3 too by having some more apple cake a little later in the day!
Twig tea
Dinner
Quinoa, broccoli, cabbage, red lentils & aduki beans & sweet potato – and a few funny looks on the train!!
An apple – I haven’t had an apple for ages & someone gave it to me so I decided to eat it on the train & mmm, it hit the spot!
I’m feeling very excited about my imminent trip to Serbia. I just heard it is snowing out there right now (eeek….I’m just getting into spring mode and now I’m going to have to rewind to winter mode again which feels a little strange!).
OK, time to dream!

Good Evening
I’m in Devon at macro school & ahhhhhhh!!!!!
Breakfast
Hmm, it was more like brunch and it went like this:
a really delicious fish curry made with tomato, ginger, carrot tops, carrot & onion with cous cous
Followed by the most amazing pudding made of sweet rice, raisins, tahini & I added some cocoa to fulfil my chocolate desire that I had
(rather than buying chocolate with sugar in it!)
1/2 a pint of guiness (to relax me on my travels
Dinner
Corn & celery soup
Brown rice, arame & almonds, cabbage with olive oil, chickpea stew & pressed red cabbage salad (with fennel I think!). Mmmm!
I’m beginning to feel excited about next week when I’ll be making my way to Serbia for a retreat. My husband and I are going to be staying in the mountains with nothing much else other than ourselves, a bed, something to cook on and simple food for just under 6 weeks. This has been a dream/fantasy of mine for a loooonnggg time and now it’s about to happen & my soul is oh so ready
. My body is really looking forward to it too
A whole load of love & light
