Hello!
It has been way too long since my regular posting and now it’s time to get back on track so to speak. My absence has been due to travelling, moving, being really busy with studying and other things and also enjoying a bit of a break from constantly writing about what I’m eating! But after a nice long break from here, I’m back…with a vengeance!!!
I’ve been learning so much over the past few months. My husband and I are constantly developing and coming to new realisations. It is amazing to see how we have, through reflection, realised so many mistakes we were making even a year ago. I also feel that I am learning more about what really works and how it works! It’s one thing understanding in theory, but it’s a completely new ball game when it comes to actually doing it for real.
My food yesterday (2nd May)
Breakfast
I had a ume, kuzu bancha drink for breakfast as the night before I was at a wedding and I had lots of extreme foods. I think it was the 2nd time this year that I’ve eaten ‘normally’. I really enjoyed it but I also really enjoyed knowing that the following day I’d be eating foods which are good for me in every way, not just on a sensory level.
Lunch
Black bean soup
Millet, black beans with spring onion, carrots with a tahini dressing, lettuce salad & sauerkraut
Museli with oat cream & a little barley malt
Bancha tea
Dinner
Black bean soup
Snacks/other
A strawberry or two, a bit of cucumber & some beer (not all together!!). I had a nibble of strawberries & cucumber whilst walking around a food market & beer when I was out with some friends.
